After-Sales Services
Akol Global after-sales services: how to send a request, how snagging items are recorded, warranty cover and the right contact. We are still by your side after handover.
Still by your side after handover
For us, handing over a home is not the end of the relationship. Our after-sales services operate as a separate business area to respond to the questions and requests homeowners have after handover.
When you send a request, sharing the project name, block and apartment number, the subject and any photos helps us pass it to the right team.
What information should you include in your request?
Briefly describing the problem, where in the home it is and how long it has been going on, and adding a photo or short video if possible, makes assessment easier. If it is urgent, such as a water leak, say so clearly in your request.
Do not share personal documents such as your ID or contract on open channels; if needed, our team will tell you how to send them.
Snagging items after handover and keeping records
It is important that any snagging items noticed during the joint inspection on handover day are written into the handover report. The report should include the location, a description and, where needed, a photo of each item; this record makes it easier to follow up the work and check it once it is complete.
We also recommend reporting anything you notice after handover in the same way, with a date and photos.
Warranty cover versus maintenance from use
Some after-sales requests relate to construction or materials, while others relate to use and regular maintenance. For example, cleaning an air-conditioner filter or renewing silicone seals is part of regular maintenance, whereas a water leak caused by workmanship is assessed differently.
Which work falls under warranty is determined by your sales contract, the manufacturers’ product warranties and the applicable legislation. That is why we recommend keeping your contract and the product documents handed over to you.
After-sales, site management and title deeds: the right contact
A problem inside your apartment and a problem in the shared areas go to different contacts: maintenance and operation of shared areas are usually the responsibility of the site management. If you are not sure which applies to your request, write to us and we will work out the right contact together.
The title deed process is also separate from technical support. Sending title deed questions as a separate request helps ensure both matters are followed up by the right team.
Frequently asked questions
How can I send an after-sales request?
Write to us using the form on our contact page, stating your project name, block and apartment number and the subject of your request. Adding photos makes assessment easier.
What should I include in my request?
Project, block and apartment details, where the problem is with a short description, how long it has been going on and any photos. State clearly if it is urgent.
Which work is covered by warranty?
Warranty cover is determined by your sales contract, the manufacturers’ product warranties and the applicable legislation. Work that needs regular maintenance is assessed differently from problems caused by construction or materials.
Who should I contact about a problem in a shared area?
Maintenance of shared areas is usually the responsibility of the site management. If you are not sure, write to us and we will work out the right contact together.
Should I send title deed questions as an after-sales request?
The title deed process is separate from technical support. Sending title deed questions as a separate request makes it easier for the right team to follow them up.
Should I keep the documents I received at handover?
Yes. The sales contract, handover report, product warranty documents and user manuals help determine the scope if a request arises later.
