Since 2001, Akol Global has been developing residential projects in Northern Cyprus. Every project we run from our head office in İskele follows the same principle: putting people and everyday life first. We plan each project with both the people who will live there and its surroundings in mind.
As Akol Development Ltd., we are a member of the Cyprus Turkish Building Contractors Association (KTİMB). We follow our projects from site selection through to handover, and after handover our after-sales services continue to support homeowners.
Our projects and regions
Our projects are located in the İskele, Gazimağusa (Famagusta), Girne (Kyrenia) and Karpaz regions. Our portfolio includes Dolce Vita Resort in İskele Long Beach, Seafront Resort in İskele, Salamis Holiday Homes Resort in Yeniboğaziçi, Dolce Mare Resort in Tatlısu, Esentepe Exclusive in Esentepe, Girne, and Akol Marine at the gateway to the Karpaz Peninsula.
Caddemm Residence and The Sea House Residences in Gazimağusa, Twins Salamis in the Salamis area and Karpaz Peninsula Villas in Dipkarpaz are among the projects we have completed. How do we develop a project?
For us, a residential project starts with choosing the site. We assess the plot’s location, access and surroundings, and plan the property types, outdoor areas and shared spaces by thinking about who will live there and how.
We then prepare the architectural and technical designs, handle the official procedures and move into construction. Throughout construction we follow the work block by block, inspect the finished homes and hand them over to their owners.
Quality and handover
We prefer to show quality through information you can check for yourself: a scaled floor plan, an area schedule, the technical specification and the inspection we carry out together on handover day. You can request this information from our sales team for the project and apartment type you are interested in.
Key handover and title deed transfer are separate steps. At handover the home is physically given to you; with the title deed transfer, ownership is registered in your name at the Land Registry. In Northern Cyprus these two steps can take place at different times, so ask us about the timeline for the specific project you are considering.
